About Wellness Dressings
Why are these products called Wellness Dressings, and how do they differ from the other line of Renée's salad dressings?
We created Wellness Dressings to address the nutritional needs of our customers. People want great-tasting products that are made with better-for-you ingredients and fit in with healthy lifestyles.
Each flavour of Wellness Dressing is packed with power food ingredients such as flaxseed oil, fish oil, non-GMO expeller pressed canola oil, organic balsamic and apple cider vinegars, wild blueberries, carrot juice and many other healthful ingredients.
All of the Wellness Dressings are free of dairy products, lactose, gluten and refined sugars, which may have a dietary impact on certain groups of people.
As with every Renée's Gourmet product, there are no chemical preservatives, no artificial flavours and no artificial colours in any of the Wellness Dressings.
I noticed that one of the Wellness Dressings is called Pom-berry. Is that a fruit?
Truth be told, there is no such thing as a Pom-berry! Pom-berry is the name we have given to the dressing created with a blend of pomegranate and blueberry.
Are there other flavours that will be added?
Our Research & Development Team is currently working on the next generation of Wellness products. Like our current Wellness Dressings, these will be tested to perfection to ensure they deliver the best of health benefits and superior taste to our customers. We welcome your input with regards to health benefits and flavours you'd like to see in them.
Why are the Wellness Dressings priced higher than the current line of Renée's salad dressings?
The Wellness Dressings cost significantly more to produce than other Renée's Gourmet dressings because they contain premium ingredients such as organic ingredients, expeller pressed canola oil and flax seed oil. Top-quality ingredients cost more for us to obtain.

Health Benefits and Ingredient Concerns
Which dressings contain antioxidants, and what are the sources?
Antioxidants are found in brightly coloured fruits and vegetables such as pomegranates, blueberries, lemons and carrots. These ingredients can be found in the Wellness Pom-Berry, Lemon Garlic and Tuscan Italian Dressings.
What is Inulin?
In simple terms, Inulin is a pre-biotic that stimulates healthy bacteria in the stomach.
What replaces dairy products in the Roasted Garlic Caesar and Peppercorn Ranch Dressings?
The Roasted Garlic Caesar and Peppercorn Ranch Dressings have the creamy appearance typically associated with dressings containing dairy products; however, these two dressings contain no dairy products or lactose!
Dairy-free Roasted Garlic Caesar Wellness Dressing™ does not contain Parmesan cheese, an ingredient found in most Caesar dressings.
In the Peppercorn Ranch Wellness Dressing™, we are able to create a creamy, dairy-like texture with flavour notes that mimic buttermilk by combining
certain ingredients
and a special blending technique. You won't believe this dressing has no dairy products!
How do you sweeten the dressings without using refined sugar?
The dressings are sweetened using naturally occurring sugars found in ingredients such as carrot juice, white grape juice and figs. There is no refined sugar in any of the Wellness Dressings.
Which dressings are low in fat?
Tuscan Italian, Pom-Berry and Fig Balsamic all contain less than 3 grams of fat per serving.
I've heard that some fats are good for you. Is this possible?
Research indicates that fat contained in dressings aids in the absorption of nutrients found in salads. For more information, click here to read an article called "A Little Fat Helps the Vegetables Go Down."
Are any of the dressings suitable for vegans?
The Fig Balsamic Dressing is ideal for vegans. Click here to see the features and benefits of each Wellness Dressing™.
